Team transition. New leadership. High stakes.

Design a four-day experience to deepen team bonds under new leadership, while subtly integrating wellbeing — without positioning the program as a traditional “wellness retreat.”

The objective was to create an experience that would strengthen relationships, build alignment with a new director, and deliver meaningful value beyond the four days together.

Wellbeing as architecture, not activity.

Pneuma designed the program around a core principle:

Wellbeing is not a session. It is the architecture of the entire experience.

Two spaces anchored the experience: a working session room and a dedicated wellness lounge designed for comfort, ease, and openness. From arrival, the tone was clear: this would operate differently from a standard off-site — without needing to label it as such.

Four days. Every moment intentional.

01

Arrival & Reset

The program opened with breathwork and a sound bath, allowing participants to arrive, reset, and transition out of work mode. A relaxed group dinner followed.

02

Personalization & Connection

The morning began with the Apothecary Bar, followed by Part One of Clarity Class. The afternoon included horseback riding, creating connection through movement and shared experience.

03

Integration & Insight

Part Two of Clarity Class deepened alignment. Participants created intention soundtracks, later professionally produced. The evening included a behind-the-scenes culinary experience with the resort’s chef.

04

Continuity

The program closed with each participant receiving a personalized intention soundtrack for daily use over the following 30 days — extending the experience well beyond the event itself.

What changed in the room.

By embedding wellbeing into the structure — rather than positioning it as a standalone activity — the program created ease, authentic connection, and a shared experience that felt both personal and collective.

The most powerful outcomes are often the ones that aren’t explicitly named — but are deeply felt and sustained.

What the program delivered.

  • Deepened team connection during a critical leadership transition
  • Strengthened alignment between the team and their new director
  • Increased individual clarity, focus, and sense of direction
  • Created a lasting post-program practice through personalized intention tools
  • Demonstrated a new model for internal team development experiences
  • Full-service production — program design, décor, facilitation, and 30-day follow-up

Pneuma is not just a wellness activation vendor.

For corporate teams

Pneuma can design and fully produce a corporate wellness off-site — not just deliver a wellness activation within one. From program architecture to facilitation to post-event tools.

For event planners

When wellbeing is integrated into the architecture of an experience, it becomes accessible, effective, and enduring — not a breakout room amenity.

Wellness is not the experience. It is the condition that makes the experience work.
