Work & Case Studies
What it looks like
when wellness works.
These are real programs, real clients, and real outcomes. Not aspirational. Not generic. Designed for the specific moment, delivered with precision, and measured by what changed in the room.
New case studies added as programs are delivered.
The Pneuma Approach
"Wellness isn't the experience. It's the condition that makes the experience work."
Rachel Milford, Co-Founder & Managing Director, Pneuma Lab
Featured Work
Programs built for the room they were designed for.
Every Pneuma engagement begins with one question: what do people need to feel in order for this experience to do its job? The programs below were built from that question. Each one is different. The principle is the same.

Design to delivery
A leadership team in transition needed more than a team-building trip. They needed an experience that would build trust, create alignment with a new director, and leave people with something tangible to carry forward — without anyone calling it a "wellness retreat."
Outcomes
- Deepened connection during leadership transition
- Strengthened team-director alignment
- Increased individual clarity and direction
- Lasting practice through personalized tools
- Full-service: design, décor, facilitation
- 30-day post-program integration

Rachel Milford brings 25 years of global meetings and events experience to a single question: what does it take to design an experience where people can actually perform?
Her career spans Australia, the UK, and the United States — from agency leadership roles delivering programs for Vodafone, Virgin Atlantic, and Brickworks, to over a decade as Event Director in Las Vegas, to founding Pneuma Lab on the conviction that wellness and performance are inseparable when designed with intention.
Pneuma partners with hotels, event planners, and conference producers to deliver experiential wellness sessions that shift how people feel and function in real time — creating immediate reset, increased presence, and a measurable shift in group energy.
Rachel's work sits at the intersection of wellness, performance, and experience design. She is helping reshape how the industry approaches attendee engagement — not as an add-on, but as the architecture that makes everything else work.
